IF you’ve ever wanted to create your own video game then you’re in luck as Google’s Area 120 has released a free game that lets you do just that.
The aptly named Game Builder let’s you create simple Minecraft-style games for yourself or other people to play with and you can download it now.
The game should be as easy to use as building houses on the Sims as no coding experience is required.
All budding creators have to do to construct their world is use a drag and drop method to put characters and scenery in empty sandbox structures.
Game Builder is free to download and play and available on Windows and macOS.

According to Google: “You can make moving platforms, scoreboards, healing potions, drivable cars and more.”
Game Builder also has a co-op mode, meaning multiple players can build a single game at the same time.
If you need inspiration then you can simply browse and play other peoples games.
Game Builder was actually released back in November 2018 but Google has only just started to publicise it now.
